That is all it is. If people wish to worship a non-existent entity and that's the "crutch" that gets them through life, that is fine until or unless it belittles another living thing on this planet.--Then it's an intrusion. Christianity is a club which is constantly being intrusive. If you don't belong to the club and just accept what's being fed to you...you are considered lost and possibly dangerous. If you need a "higher power" to have morality, then we all have an accident waiting to happen. I, for one, don't want that thin line to be erased.--Please go on believing a god will punish you (now or later) if you step out of line with humanities assumed rules & regulations. Those of you making excuses for 'Old' vs. 'New Dispensation' vs. 'contextual accuracy'...have you read the scrolls in their original Hebrew? King James (a gay man) had what was available minus what he didn't like (which the Catholic version retains) translated. This means the generic bible we have in our hands is an interpretation. (By most objective persons' estimation: a "mutt"). Also remember that according to this book, god is the same "yesterday, today and forever". So he suddenly forgave himself for the very sins he forbade people to commit with the onset of Jesus? Sounds like this god at least needed a continuity director for this publication.
